Blues News You Can Use!
Sunshine Blues
These last few sunny days should be a balm of good feelings...yet, sometimes a good sunny day isn't enough for me. I tend to feel "droopy" on a cloudy day, but it feels easy to point to the dreary weather and cut myself some slack. When I feel out of sorts on a sunny day I tend to chastise myself about not being productive and enjoying the day.
That ends up making me feel "grumpy." Have you ever had this conundrum? Have you discovered some favorite "anti-Blues" Blues songs you can recommend? Please email me your ideas below!
Again this week we are celebrating the variety of options we all have to explore and enjoy the music we love. Last week we added an item to the right hand column so don't overlook checking the options there. Modern internet access offers us such a wonderful variety of live and recorded video, radio programs and podcasts, written articles, series, and archived pieces to explore. It is our hope that our readers enjoy the options we offer in this newsletter. Know of a different Blues history resource? Email your ideas to Sandy at the link below.

Additionally, perhaps you are not seeing your favorite blues artist or venue listed in our calendar? We compile listings from local community calendars for our partner artists and venues throughout the area. Remember, artists and fans alike may send us blues event listings that may not appear in the community calendars. Just email SANDY to share
listings that include performances occurring from next weekend through the following weekend.
It's always important to say, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send questions, information, feedback, and suggestions our way. Just click below to email Sandy.
We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!
