Blues News You Can Use!
The sun is out again today and the temperatures seem almost springlike. Though it sounds like this weekend will be more seasonal, the current forecast has things warming back up next week.
To me it feels like we may be turning a corner. Of course there is still a predictable time table that keeps many inside for the next few weeks as college basketball moves toward March Madness. Here's to hoping that patio season and it's live music will be right on it's heels.
The fundraiser planning is moving along. We are running a bit behind on the launch of the new ticket link. With the change of venue comes a new seating arrangement and we are working to carefully reassign seats to those who already bought tickets before we open the remaining seats. We are getting close and hope to have the new ticket link available very soon. The board has decided to tie in our annual meeting elections with the fundraiser. Watch for more information to come after our February board meeting. Read
on below for more information and check our website for updates.
As noted last week, due to the winter weather a week ago, the blues event at Subiaco has been rescheduled. Check out the article below for information about the new date. There is also an article highlighting tonight's jazz performance
at Roots HQ. Just a reminder, I am still lacking a good calendar to source Benton County blues music, so if you are a musician (or fan) in Benton county please take note that you can email Sandy with your gigs. Please email the next two week's events following the receipt of the weekly newsletter.

Always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send feedback or suggestions our way. You can reach me by email at the address below. We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!

IBC sponsorship fund
2022 Fundraiser
We have a new date for our IBC Fundraiser! The new date will be, Saturday, April 30, 2022 which is the weekend before the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. What a great weekend to come out and see the Jeff Horton Band share the music they will be taking to Memphis!
Due to the need we faced to make a last minute change, we are also moving our venue to the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville. The ticket sales link has been temporarily paused while we finalize the seating layout for the new venue, but we hope to have a new link up next week. Watch for more information as we finalize the details of this new event. Thank you to all the supporters of Ozark Blues Society and our challenger, The Jeff Horton Band.
We understand how disappointing changes like this can be and we appreciate your patience as we work though the process.
