Winners....EVERY act competing at the International Blues Challenge hits Beale already a winner, having won a local/regional competition to even get their foot in the door. So, for the just under 50% who get top scores and move on following two nights of quarter-finals, the are
on their second wave of winning.
And dear readers....Brick Fields Blues Therapy is riding the second wave!
In the wee small hours this morning,
they were treated to hearing their band announced as a quarter-final winner.
They advance to tonight's semi-finals!
The semi-final schedule and venue placement will be posted around mid-day. With so many of their supporters back home. don't forget to keep the love coming through social media for Brick Fields....such an exciting opportunity!

IBC quarter-final winners
After two grueling nights of quarter-finals, our Ozark Blues Society sponsored blues challenger, Brick Fields Blues Therapy Band, will be bringing their winning style to tonight's semi-final round. Board Nominations
and Annual Meeting
Is that time of year again....our nominating committee is accepting input of names for potential nominees for the board
of directors as well as the for the offices up for election in 2020. The annual meeting and elections will
be held in March, with the date
to be announced soon.
The offices of Vice President and Secretary are up for election for two year terms, and the currently unfilled office of treasurer is open for a one year term. Those being nominated must hold
a current membership in OBS, but
a new/renewed membership may
be initiated for a nominee who is not currently an active member but who wishes to accept a nomination. If you would like to nominate someone (or yourself) please email Bruce Barton
