Les Copeland :: TO BE IN YOUR COMPANY
Delta blues legend David “Honeyboy” Edwards and his manager, Earwig CEO Michael Frank, recognized early on Les Copeland’s ability to play, on a very high level, acoustic and electric blues, jazz, folk and Americana from many eras, as well as original tunes and an eclectic mix of covers.

In 2010, Earwig released Les’ first album, Don’t Let The Devil In. Now comes his second album, To Be In Your Company, with the title cut being Les’s tribute to Honeyboy, his teacher, guru, working partner and traveling companion of 15 years. The remaining songs showcase Les’ talent as a fine, quirky songwriter who offers here, “songs about people I’ve known or know. Some of these people I love very much, some not so much. I write songs with a mixture of humor and sarcasm.” Find more details about this release

David Michael Miller :: SAME SOIL
Same Soil is a tribute to the fertile blues/roots tradition influencing David Michael Miller’s unique style, following the heels of his breakout album, Poisons Sipped. Co-produced, mixed and engineered by Grammy Nominated producer, Mike Brown, at Temperamental Studio (featured on American Pickers), over half of this album was tracked with pre-WWII instruments and using old mic’ing techniques. Along with the vintage equipment, David brought in a host of veteran players to bring the songs to life including keyboardist Jim Ehinger (Bonnie, Raitt, Albert Collins, Biller Vera and The Beaters), saxophonist Jason Moynihan (Buddy Guy) and drummer Carlton Campbell (of The Campbell Brothers). David explores songs inspired by Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Bo Diddley as well as a blend of Americana, soul and gospel influences. Find more details about this release

Gary Clark Jr. talks blues and balancing
ATLANTA — Even though Gary Clark Jr. often performs in front of thousands of people, the Grammy-winning musician still doesn't know how to react when he hears concertgoers chant his name.

"I never know what to do," he said. "You can't say thank you, I guess. I just smile and take it all in."

Clark has embraced the pressure of being considered the future of blues. So far, he's kept the genre alive performing on the grandest stages alongside music's biggest acts, including Mick Jagger and Beyoncé.

This year, Clark opened for The Rolling Stones' kick-off tour. He joined the Foo Fighters' tour for nearly two months and was a headliner at several popular music festivals, including Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Festival.
