Blues News You Can Use!
On and Off
It's not yet the "April showers bring May flowers" time of the year, storms are still being named as winter storms, and the extended forecast for NWA still includes the potential for a wintry mix about a week and a half from now...but at least for me, I am enjoying the taste of spring days that are interspersed between the more seasonal weather days. So, while we all endure the on and off weather, the calendar does remind us we are getting closer and closer to patio weather!
This week we have returning articles about officer elections and the upcoming OBS annual meeting. The nominating committee's slate of candidates will be announced in next week's newsletter and submission of potential candidates from the general membership opens soon. Read on for how to participate. We also want to remind you of tonight's concert at Subiaco Academy. Read on below for more information on both of these topics.
Finally, I would like to once more share the desire of the Ozark Blues Society Board of Directors to add more writers/reporters who are submitting to the weekly "Blues News You Can Use" e-newsletter.  If you are reading this and would be willing to submit written pieces for our newsletter, please reach out to SANDY. If you would like to know more about our submission procedures, please visit our website for our current promotion procedures HERE Thanks!

Always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please consider sharing dates that for your favorite artists that are not included in the community calendars we use. We would also love to have a local live blues music reporter to share stories for the newsletter. Many bands have time challenges in submitting information and this would be a great way for fans to show them some love! Please send questions, information, feedback, and suggestions our way. Just click on Sandy's email address below.
We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!
