Say what?
Well, this week we have sort of a break in the recent run of news. So, that's the "Livin' Light"...this week's newsletter will be a quick read! Why, you may ask, am I pointing this out? Well, it's time for my plea again for written input. I am looking for any of our readers who want to get involved and share their own love of the blues! It would be wonderful to have more pieces like we have enjoyed in the past submitted by our readers. The topics are nearly endless....just anything that is about the blues. Have you been to a spectacular event or show you could tell us about? Are you excited about some aspect of blues history you could share? Or perhaps you are a blues musician and would like to share with the non-musician public about some aspect of your craft? Like I said, pretty much the sky is the limit. So far I have been able to publish articles in full, but of course Ozark Blues Society reserves the right to edit or reject any piece submitted for publication. Authors are always notified before publication if editing is required.
...And the "Livin' Large"? Read the article below on our upcoming Blues in the Schools to learn more about it!
And as always, please remember I need artists and readers to help me get linked up to events you have or know about, especially if the events aren't posted to the local calendars. Send any
ideas or comments to me anytime at:
