As I think back on the past 13 MaMaPaLooZa Festivals I feel change is in the air. In 2002 the concept of "mom" as a source of artistic identity was brand new. Now there are mom-made cultural and corporate happenings all across America. This is good! It means that we can shift gears a little, without losing mom-men-tum. This year is all about the sons and daughters. Where would we be without them? I am so happy to introduce some new friends who are so talented, along with my dear friend and collaborator Zhen Heinemann at the helm helping with all the prep. I hope we'll see you this year!
